Hybrid Workshop: Your Brand Is More than a Logo

Where branding is concerned, business owners often fall into one of two camps:

  1. You love the idea of dreaming up logos, picking colors, and so on, because it sounds like so much fun. Plus, your brand is your business, so it’s okay to dedicate a lot of time, energy, and money to getting it right.
  2. You don’t really see what the point is. Sure, it’s important to have some kind of logo so people know what you do, but dreaming up pretty artwork isn’t what brings in the money you need to keep your doors (real or virtual) open.

Both of these are kind of right… and they’re kind of wrong.

Here’s the thing about branding: while it is an important way to communicate who you are and what you do to people, it needs to serve your business goals like everything else you do.
