Recently, we posted about how Yelp is adding features for businesses. They’re designed to keep customers informed about virtual services and any changes to hours and days of operation during coronavirus.
Well, now Facebook has gotten in on the act as well. (Expect this to be a trend.)
Right now, Facebook’s options seem to be fairly limited and straightforward. You can update your business page with one of three options:
- Open with service changes. For example, you now have pickup or delivery.
- Temporarily closed. Due to COVID-19, your products or services are temporarily unavailable.
- No service changes. Business as usual – people should continue using you as they always do.
To take advantage of this Facebook COVID-19 update, make changes to your business page by heading to Page Settings > Page Info > Hours > Temporary Service Changes.
